About.

I build models that hold up in messy, real-world conditions, not just on a benchmark. I dig into the underlying math until a model genuinely makes sense, then ship things people can actually use, from production ML at work to side projects I build for the fun of it. I lead well under pressure and do my best work alongside a team, an instinct sharpened through years of competing and coaching in esports.

Most recently I spent six months at Tacoma Public Utilities turning thirteen years of scattered inspection records into a risk model and a set of dashboards that crews actually use to decide what to look at first. Before that I led a three-person team building a legal document classifier, and along the way I have trained networks on bird calls, forecast parking demand from weather, and shipped an iOS app. I also shoot photographs, and won Seattle University's Imagining the World competition in 2025.
